In this class, no previous knowledge of Commend will be assumed. We will cover the following topics:

• Deployment of VirtuoSIS-based systems
• Investigate and understand existing installations
• Maintenance changes like volume level, call targets, names, etc.
• Learn how to troubleshoot non-working devices
• Understand the big picture of how all the pieces work together

Our Certification Training is an in-depth, 3-day course designed to provide you with a thorough understanding of Commend’s integrated communication technology. Technicians will learn all about CCT800 software, IoIP intercoms, and SIP intercoms. Trainees will gain hands-on experience with connecting equipment, IoIP and SIP connectivity, Call Request, output activation, video calls, and many other common scenarios. There will be time at the end of each day to ask questions and to discuss any specific project applications.

• VirtuoSIS, S3, and S6 Intercom Server deployment in local and enterprise networks
• Licensing of Intercom Servers
• Understanding of the CCT800, Set-UP, and IPStationConfig configuration tools
• Basic setup and commissioning of systems
• Connect and troubleshoot IoIP devices (like EE900A, WS810PI, etc.)
• Connect and troubleshoot SIP devices (like ID5, ES962H, etc.)
• Configure classic Control Desks / Call Requests
• Call transfers and call escalations (Time Present/Absent and Day/Night)
• Door Opener function (to release remote outputs)
• Video setup (SIP and IoIP)
• Basic setup in Symphony BF series (like ES962H, SIP-WS, etc.)
• Basic setup in Symphony MX series (like ID5, OD10, IM3, etc.)
• Setup basic calling in a Serverless / Symphony Mesh setup
• Adjust basic audio settings like volume, speech mode, and background noise levels
• Overview of the SIP protocol and how it works

Physical Equipment
All attendees are required to have an ID5TDCM and ES962H (or equivalent) intercom to follow the live exercises. These can be purchased in a special Training Kit containing these two devices. This is offered at a steep discount from the normal price of the equipment and is therefore to be used only for training and demo purposes.

Preparation Course Required
All attendees must complete the preparation course no fewer than 7 days before class. Once registered, you will have access to this course, which walks you through the download, installation, and preparation of the software that will be covered in the class. This course ensures that the software runs correctly prior to the class. We reserve the right to cancel any registration if the preparation has not been fully completed in our system 7 days prior to class. 

Webcam Requirements
To ensure a dynamic, interactive, and professional learning environment, all participants in our online training cohort of industry professionals are required to keep their webcams on throughout the entire session. This fosters a focused atmosphere, minimizes distractions, encourages active engagement, and cultivates a strong sense of collaboration and camaraderie among peers as we grow and learn together. Attendees must verify that their webcams are fully functional prior to the start of the training course. Participants who arrive without a working webcam will not be permitted to join the session.
