Terms and Conditions


The following outlines the terms and conditions governing registrations, payments, and participation in Commend Americas training courses and events. By registering for an event, you agree to these terms.

Refunds

We accept refund requests submitted up to 7 calendar days before the scheduled event. Refunds are processed in the order received and may take 1-2 business days to post. No refunds will be issued within 7 days of the event.

Transfers

Registrations are non-transferable. If an attendee cannot participate, they must process a cancellation (subject to the Cancellation policy) and the new individual must register as a new attendee.

Cancellations

  • If a cancellation request is received more than 7 days prior to the event, we will offer you a full credit or refund for the purchased amount, applicable to a future event.
  • If a cancellation request is received within 7 days of the event, only credit for the purchased amount will be offered, applicable to a future event.

Substitutions

We do not permit direct substitutions of registered attendees. If the originally scheduled attendee needs to be replaced, the initial registration must be cancelled (as per the Cancellation policy), and the new individual must complete a separate registration.

Payment Terms

  • Full payment must be received no later than 7 calendar days before the course event.
  • Credit card transactions are securely handled by Stripe.
  • For Purchase Orders (POs), our standard NET30 payment terms will apply (current dealers).

No-Shows

If a registered individual does not attend a class without prior cancellation, this will be processed as a cancellation within 7 days of the event, and only a credit will be offered as per the Cancellation policy.

Event Cancellation by Commend

In the rare event that Commend Americas cancels or reschedules an event, registrants will be offered either a full refund or a transfer of credit to a future event. Additionally, Commend reserves the right to cancel any registrations when the preparation course is not completed at least 7 days prior to the event.

Accessibility / Special Needs

Please inform us in advance if you have any dietary or special needs. We will make our best effort to accommodate these requests and handle all such information with discretion.

Code of Conduct

During all events, attendees are expected to behave in a professional and consistent manner, adhering to standards reasonable and typical in such settings. If an attendee becomes disruptive, uses offensive language, or is deemed disruptive by the instructor, they may be dismissed from the event. The instructor will determine if such dismissal is treated as a cancellation or a no-show, impacting any potential credit.

Privacy Policy

On our website, you have the opportunity to sign up for training courses and events. When you do so, we collect the following details:

  • First name, Last name
  • Company affiliation
  • E-mail address
  • Number of participants/seats to be reserved
  • Optionally: your address and telephone number

We process your data exclusively for the purpose of organizing the booked training sessions or events, and for providing attendance certificates etc., as required. The processing of your data (name, company affiliation, e-mail, number of participants) is required for us to organize the training sessions or events, as provided for in Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
